There are millions of reports and questions just like this out there. The main answer to this question is, if it is installed correctly by a technician then it will not blow your engine that way. And if you use it properly and conservatively then it will not blow your engine. If you abuse the nitrous and try launching with it when you don't know how or using it at the wrong points you can blow your engine. Also if you use too high of a shop for your engine then it could blow your engine. To be on the safe side start out small and use that for a few runs and then work your way up and use it conservatively. If you want to run a higher shot then you might want to invest some money into your engine internals. Do a search under this board and you will find this question answered many time. Hope this helps.

Just dont get greedy with the N2O!! It is way to easy to switch the jets! I little more a little more *BOOM!*
Just realize that a safe max for such a small moter is probably 50hp. Make sure your fuel system is working well. Things go boom when the motor leans out (or you get a N2O back fire!) Make sure your N2O is not on when you start the car  N20 is safe! Just dont use it like an idiot and you'll be ok.

Just make sure you have a stout enough motor to take the gas. I'm spraying a 100 shot on top of 12 pounds of boost, and it's a kick in the pants
 10 LB bottles run out rather quickly when you're cruising around, however

this is what you should do:
1. buy the most balls out nitrous you can find and get it hooked up to your car (150 hp shot or more). 2. find the most balls out fast car on the road (something with a v8 or something that seems and looks fast). 3. rev up on the person . 4. push the nitrous switch and blow your engine 5. hope that you beat the car before your car explodes. it'd all be worth it if you won. hope that helps you out..
