Not My G20!!

was on a two lane road waiting to turn into a development so i was at a dead stop with my blinker on to turn left. I looked up in my rear view mirror and i see an old peice of shit station wagon coming at me like 50 miles an hour and he wasnt slowing down. My first instinct was to floor the car so i did and i jus sat there spinning the tires for a second because the road was wet and it was too late........ The big ford wagon plowed into the back of me doing 50 miles an hour. He never once hit his brakes. And that was the end of my G. It looks like a hatch back now since the trunk is completely gone and my speaker box with my 12" speakers came flying threw the back seat and my seat was bent all the back back from the impact of my body. My seat belt saved me from going through the windsheild. Well anyways i ended up in the hospital with neck and back injuries and i talked to my lawyer today and im sewing his insurance company for my bills and pain and time off work. I got 6,000 for my G and im looking at a 91' sentra se-r I think im gonna buy it.

Dude, I'm glad you're alive. I assume you are basically OK. Thank God.

Sorry to hear about your car.

I know exactly how u feel man

yah man... if u read my post you'd see I'm from Canada. Last January I got plowed into a pole head-on @70km/h. by a snow machine trying to clear the roads. He lost control and sent me into the pole. Totaled my Blac Ac. Jus me an my wifey. I only had time to decide whether or not to pull the handbrake. I decided not to since cars are rigorously tested for the front and we'd have the best chance for both airbags to deploy. Really scary..wifey almost had to remove her spleen and liver. She was training to be a cop but she has to put that on hold now. healing time is too long. Hope you ok man. yah it suck azz you lost you pride n joy. Espeacially to a shietboxx like that.

dude, glad to hear you're recovering. sorry to hear about your ride.

i got rear-ended too on my 2nd civic ex that I had about 4 years ago in a parking lot. bashed up the rear bumper and it seemed like the impact bent the frame too. fixed it up and sold the car.

ever since then, I am so damn nervous when I hit the brakes kinda hard or waiting to make a left turn in the middle of the street. problem is that a lot of the streets here in the midwest still do not have the center divider or left hand turn lane.

hope you get well man. sorry about your car. I just got back my car today after some b*tch started his car and couldn't break and went straight into my 99 g20t. I don't know why most of us g20 forum members have been having bad luck lately.

I'm glad that you are (sorta) OK. Good thinking about flooring it. Too bad it didn't work

Warren, I was wondering about the same thing - this G20 forum is not big at all, and still a lot of guys get rear-ended! Weird...

Court Summons.

One of the reasons why the new G20 is so heavy is because its well protected. I feel very safe in the car knowing its got steel side bars ..dual airbags...side airbags ..crumple zones ...

but you know ...all that means shit when you have ass's on the road who should have just stayed in bed.

Hope you feel better dude.
