Thumbs up Is the g20 slow. not really!

Check this out. I have a 99 g20 auto w/ no mods and my friend has a
95 integra gsr 5spd stock. We were at a stoplight over tha weekend and it hit green. I put it in 1st and we're off. Gotta admit it is a little
sluggish off the line, but I held in 1st all the way to redline and I still
right there with him. By the time i redlined in 1st he had to switch to 2nd
and when I went to 2nd I was actually still right there w/ him. we hit about 65-70 and still was right beside him. If we had gone a whole 1/4 he probably would have took me but shit, that is pretty damn good. It seems the g20 actually performes better than the numbers show.

I bet if i had maybe just headers I would have got him! no really. He said he gave it all he had!
WHAT YALL THINK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

definately...

the GSR (while it lacks some torque) has more power... about 40 more ponies plus its lighter...

not to mention the gear ratio's of the auto tranny on the G20 are not the greatest. an auto G in stock form makes about 112 to 115 whp

yeh, i dragged an Accord V6 AT from a standstill when my P11 (AT) had about 1/8th tank of gas and no AC on. I was about 1/2car length behind which kinda impressed me. but when there's plenty of gas in the car, it was only as about as fast as a civic hb off the line. 25 to 60mph accererlation is much better though compared to a civic. it seems that 2nd gear is pretty decent on the AT. haha, forget the 1st though... bogggggg!!!

anyone have NOS in their P11's?

i took my car to the dealer for an oil change,(i know iknow i should be doing that myself but u have got to see the girls that work there,,ooofa)but anyway they gave me a loaner to beat on and i came away pretty impressed. It felt faster than my mom 2.2 litre camry and was a hell of a lot faster than any ex civic auto. the only thing that i noticed was that when the ac was on a drained the car considerably more than in my old ladies camry but otherwise it's no slower than than any other four cylinder auto in it's class. Are the ratios diffrent on the autos too 99vs00.
and what's up with the dealer trying to convice me of a 300 dollar 15,ooo mile tune up.....they must be smoken some good shit at the infiniti dealer

lol, no i didn' pay 300 for the maintance , that's how much they wanted it was for air filter which i don't have a stock one anymore. change trannyoil which is completely uneccessary and a bunch of other stuff. But if u check with your dealer you'll get sticker shock too cause they all charge that much for the 15,000 mile checkup

Dude as much as I like smokin good shit myself I really don't think you should just pop it into a thread in G20.net...Not trying to be a critic but I know its important to Jason that we stay on topic

Guys, don't keep doing that to him, he just went from "super black" to "black obsidian", now will be just obsidian?

Jason, you should go back to super black because your car has the most whp!

And you all should stop smoking good sh|t.:smoka:
