Question Repainted

Has anyone here repainted there whole car? And if so what color and how much? My estimate here in Hawaii for black 5k!! My 944 cost me 4k what a rip! Tell me your stories.....:o

Unhappy hum?

Looks like no one has painted there great cars!? Oh well-I will surely post prices and pic's when I paint mine black when I get to N.Y. Im leaving this rock 2morrow, YEY!

Ive painted mine. Silver - forget the price but it was just for the paint. Have a paint booth in my garage.

Cool It's gonna be tope!

I'm getting mine repainted. I have three big dents and a few smaller ones that they are going to fix too. They will be stripping the whole car, removing old bondo (from the crappy PO), and painted tope (or what Porsche likes to call "Porsche Champaigne"); it's the original color. The whole job comes will a lifetime warranty for $1,800.00. Very good price. He's also throwing in Free retinting on all my windows. I've seen the guy's work on a buddy's Jeep Cherokee and it was just as good as the top sellers in town that gave me an estimate of $4,300.00 to $5,500.00. I will be taking it in next week. We'll see what happens. I'll post pics once it's done.
