Eighties Contest Entry: Lancia Montecarlo Turbo

Hi everyone,
this is my break at it, so try to be patient. Try to be patient also for my poor english, so I'm italian.
My choice is for the Lancia Montecarlo Turbo who win Group 5 title in '81/'82 seasons (and the 2000 Gr5 cat. in '79).

Kit should be a re-issue of the old ESCI stuff, so isn't bad but is also a near 20years old kit! I had this kit in My stockpile for more than 15 years, I keep it for a special event, like that!

This is one or probably the most preferred subj. of mine: so I try to make something for improove model's details.
My choice is in the classic "Martini" livery, however the istitutional Lancia livery for "Giro d'Italia" with for ex. Alboreto or Villeneuve at drive is awesome but I can't find spare decals for that.
So I'm quetly busy now with other kit's finishing, but come back here in a couple of week with this monster beginning: I can't wait for wire this Abarth stuff!

Re: Eighties Contest Entry: Lancia Montecarlo Turbo

Can't say i have ever seen one of these built up, i hope you make the best out of it. I can't really think of a car where the white and martini stripes look bad on. I did see a f1 with green+martini stripes, which didn't seem as appealing to me.
Anyway, love the subject choice, now show us some progress, so we can see what to expect

That's a great subject. I was looking for someone to build myself but cannot find anyone who makes it. Maybe modeler's did one in resin, but i think it's impossible to have.
Form the pictures this heller kit don't seem to be too bad.
Share with us some work in progress pics.

Welcome to AF and the Eighties Comp Gonic. Great subject.
I also haven't seen that kit before, and am suddenly in lust with it!
