putting a Chevy small block into a Ford?
I just bought another 90 Cougar XR7, exact same as mine, but blown motor and trans, for random parts to replace on mine... and I have mentioned this before, but I have a needing to be rebuilt 327 originally from a 67 Chevy Impala, how hard and how costly would it be to put that motor into the Cougar... anybody have any idea?

about as...
it would be about as much as it would cost to put it in a nova, but than you wouldn't have to worry about powering a 4000 lbs car with it.
the price of the nova would equal the price of all the custom fabbed parts needed to make the cougar chevy-motivated. besides, why would you want a CHEBBIE in a perfectly good car like a ford?

I would sell the cougar for a smaller car. Less weight more speed. If you love the car though go fo it. Good Luck!
