Volume goes up and down
When I listen to music, my treble seems to go up and down. You can notice it outside and inside the car. Its really annoying, and I tried with both burned cd's and store bought cd's and it doesnt make a difference. My friends notice it too, that the treble goes up and down every few seconds. The treble setting is set to negative 2, and Bass is set to full. But even when I move my treble setting around, it stil doesnt make a difference. I went to an audio store and they guy was like, I dunno take it to the dealer, i was like thanks for your help faggot. Anyone had the same problem, or know what I should do? thanks.

probably too much bass, and its droning out your treble every now and then, thats why our stock bose kinda sux, it does that shit when you play stuff with heavy bass
your stock door/back dash speakers are only 6-1/2" speakers anyways, they're not made to produce low frequencies, usually mid to upper frequencies, try setting the bass at either halfway or below and treble about 2 bars and up, that should sound even cleaner and louder. good luck

If you've got the money and you really want good audio.. heres what I'd tell you to do.
Go get a new deck (Stock decks are RARELY that good). Make sure the new deck has at least 2 pre-amp outputs. If you are gonna spend a lot of money.. get one with 3 (front, rear, and non-fading). Get some nice subs, a nice monoblock subamp. I recommend Older Xtant, or PPI Art Series. Both amps were designed by the same guy. He now works at JL Audio as their amp designer. But dont get a JL Amp. They arent as good.. JL has a price budget, so the amps arent as good. At PPI and Xtant.. the budgets limit didnt exist, so he made some of the best car audio amps around. For subs I recommend JL W6's, they are in my opinion the best sounding subs on the market, and rather price effective. W3's arent to shabby either. For speakers.. I would personally get nice component sets, then you can cross them over and completely keep all unwanted sound frequencies from getting to them. If not, get some nice 3 ways and cross it over at the amps and the decks. These are only my opinions.. im an audio buff.. my system cost me (literally) 6 times more than my car did. Heh. |
