Question Looking for decal options on DTM

I was parsing through some older threads and ran across a post about some German versions of the older Tamiya DTM kits. Are the decals available? Does Studio 27 have anything?
I have these 2 kits, but I don't want to use the kit decals because they are a little bland for me (and I did the D2 2000 version, and the Cliff car is NOT an eye catcher ).

Is there any sort of replacement website that Tamiya has where you can get older decals? I'd take any of the other versions (Tabac/Sonax, Promarkt, Team Opel,...) . I just grabbed these because they were available.
Thanks for any info.

Contact Tamiya directly, your regional distributer should be helpful, you can buy replacement decal sets from Tamiya, you just need the kit number of the kit you want the decals from and a credit card to pay with.

Cliff car not an eyecatcher? Black always looks good.

There were a few different decal sheets available but most of them were made by the likes of DMC decals and not very good. Do a search through the motorsport sub-forum and you may turn up some examples.

You can do that, get decals for OOP kits direct from Tamiya?? If so, Woah..!!! Didn't know that.

You didn't say OOP, but I assumed this is what you meant, as both those Tamiya kits are now OOP. The cliff for sure, and TBH, black with white decals is very eye catching I feel.. Black is a great racing colour.

Black and Silver Corvette C5-R anyone..??? Stunning..!!

You can't get decals for all OOP kits, it's really luck of the draw, if they have them in stock, you can get them.

Go to DMC and have a look. They have quite a lot of decals that would interest you.

Re: Looking for decal options on DTM

DMC decals I have found to be ok. The ones I have done have worked well with softeners.
