Opinion's on the new RSX Type-S

Well recently I went up to my local acura dealership and they just got the new rsx's in and one Type S model . My very first thought on the car was I like the front end but the rim's and the back of the car have to go . The seat's inside of this car are so damn awesome there leather bucket seat's . The interior is looking pretty futuristic and pretty nice . Now as far as power and everything i've seen time's for the Rsx Type S to be around 6.1 and 14.8 and compared to the ITR 6.2 and 14.7 there basically identical as far as numbers go . Now I hope to god that they do make the Type R for the Rsx b/c i've heard rumors of 220 bhp and brembo brakes and recaro seats . But those are just rumors ....it's still a pretty nice car and I'm pretty sure that the aftermarket for this car will be pretty big early next yr .

My first thought on seeing an RSX was...."Wow, that thing reminds me a lot of my Paseo". I was, as you could imagine, EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! Sure, the performance is okay, but the looks are too damh blah.

I'd get one, too, but maybe not this year.

hey dudes, I'm planning to get one next summer. I was thinking I should get a 4dr sedan like the IS300, but man, the price on these tegs (oops, rsx's) are just too damn cheap. huge bang for the buck. only like $26K for the typeS with factory aero parts.

I'm gonna wait a year just to be sure that the typeR doesn't come out. sucks if it does come out a week after I buy a typeS. hehehe. also gonna put on some TEIN RA's probably (when available) with upper pillows along with SSR wheels and S02's. probably gonna keep the intake/exhaust stock as I'm only gonna be driving it on the streets. maybe exhaust, we'll see. gonna probably drive my dressedup 98lude to work, give my G20 to my wife and sell the civic.

it's gonna be another exciting year next year. hehehehee!!!

Question RSX turbo

I was thinking the same. I don't know where they are going to put it, not much room to play around with.

I will inform everyone when the turbo is avilable or when I find out more.

If you want to turbocharged the car with big boost it is better if you bought the lower compression base model to start with.

turbocharger

Who makes this turbo? Is this 320hp total with thr RSX type-s or just RSX. So if its for the Type-s, your saying it will give you 120hp? That sounds pretty high, but would definately be nice.
