A/C Charger chemical reduces engine lag

hi guys. over the weekend, my cousin from Japan visited and was explaining that he uses some chemical in the a/c system that signifcantly reduces the lag when the a/c is turned on. He says that he can't tell any difference from the engine performance when the a/c was on or off. He races on the weekends for fun at Fuji raceways with his TegTypeR. it gets extremely hot out there so all his buddies use this chemical and turns on their ac w/o worries.

anyone know if of such chemical in the US? where can I get this stuff? I hear it needs to go into the a/c system and recharged. there is only a few places that does this in Tokyo.

I live in Arizona, it's hotter than crap over here... I'd so buy that stuff, if it's safe for my A/C system that is.
Group buy???

Pardon my French.. but who the HELL races with their A/C on??? I mean I can imagine the Dayton 500.. in-car camera at the in Jeff Gordon's car.. he's kinda hot in the nomex suit, whew, reaching over now to the A/C vent, puts his hand over it.. nope, lets make a little colder, now reaching for the knob and turning it down just a little hair.. there, purrrfect. [Pan to the track now, cars zooming by: - Announcer "Boy its hot as the dickens down there today huh Bob?"] Okay, its late, I need to get to bed, sorry. LOL

I wouldn't race with the A/C on, no way. hell, in the summer time the car will overheat even with the heat on if i were to head out to the track. With the A/C on I'd be lucky to get a couple laps in, before the needle was pegged (I'm guessing). I'd love to be able to drive around in the summer time, just regular city driving, with the A/C blasting and not feel any drag on the motor. It sucks, if I floor it, the A/C kicks off, and it goes, but under part throttle you can really feel the drag on the car.
During this time of year, if I drive anywhere, I need to use the A/C, unless of course I want to look like I just hopped outta the shower, with my clothes on. <- Yeah, he's my neighbor

That's what I'm looking for... Something for nothing I can always dream can't I?

dudes, these guys at Fuji are racing around (for fun) in 115F heat index weather. no way in hell are they gonna be able to concentrate in dat kinda heat. my cousin tells me that by the middle of the day, his tegTypeR needs an oilchange because the oil's just fried. so he and his buddies always carries bottles and bottles of oil to change at the track. now dat's dedication to a hobby. now if I can just get that chemical... :smoker:

bottom line is, AC is on, but the car 'n driver can't feel its lag... no heat buildup.
