Shift light install

I am istalling a shift light in a 98 hinda civic EX and I need to know where to hook the tach wire to. Does it hook into the ignition? Does anyone have pics and instruction on how to install?

go to www.autometer.com they have instructions there. u can just look around for the shift lite installation
