b16a1 install q's

Does anyone know if the throttle cable bracket can be sourced off any other usdm tranny's (part #)? My stock one doesn't even come close to fitting. Also, is there any need for the front mount when using the HASport mount kit?

I mean clutch cable, not throttle cable.

use your stock one. its gonna be a rough go of it, yunno how you can wiggle the arm up and down easily now, thats just the play thats normally in it, you gotta adjust the cable all the way out and use a jack or somethin to lift the clutch just enough to get it on...

you can also try "peeling back" the sheilding around the stock cable an inch or 2 so that it gives your more adjustment to play with on the clutch. If not, a 90-93 teg cable should do the trick. and no need for the front mount if your going hasport

yeah, the bracket that mounts on to the tranny is what I'm talking about. We are gonna order one for a 90-91 teg and see if that works. Basically, thats the only thing from stopping us from getting this bitch rolling. we got the engine running today, sounds pretty nice. Also, we cant trouble shoot the vtec hookup til it drives, so thats another future issue once we get this bracket figured out. Pics soon! Thanks for your help guys.
