installing aftermarket cd player
I'm tryingto instal a new cd player in a 2002 pontiac sunfire. I can't sem to find the right wiring harness anywhere, went a couple places and they tried giving me the wrong one, bet buy was trying to say it was ome specialty piece for like $120. Which makes no sense i could buy one for any other car for 15 bucks. I was curious if someone could direct me to the ight place to get a wiring harness or I was thinking i could cut the connecter off and just connect the wires straight together matching the colors. It seemed like the only one that wouldnt have a match is the orange wires which is dimmer or something. I appreciate any direction toward the best thing to do.
thanks josh |

Re: installing aftermarket cd player
Does your car have Monsoon sound or standard audio package?

Re: installing aftermarket cd player
I'm almost positive it just has standard audio system. doesnt mention anything about monsoon sound, and definatly doesn't sound special. |

Re: installing aftermarket cd player
I have a 96 sunfire and bought the wire harmess for it at Walmart(Best Buy, etc). Go there and see if they have a wire harness with your year and model. Hook up all wires needed as shown by the instructions and you should have sound in no time.
