Yea, it's a B18C5, 1.8L, 197hp, and yes it is a direct bolt in for a 92+ Civic HB or coupe.

Well first of all if you are going to get a Type R engine into a Civic HB good luck on finding one. Second, if you want to drive it on the streets I really don't know if it will pass smog. I know there are times that you can but I guess some people are lucky.

Why wouldn't I be able to?? because of the engine or the engine in the civic.

My next Question..

The Civic Type-R and Acura Integra Type-R that are FROM Japan, do they both have the same engine??? or is the Civic-R or Integra-R Engine Different???

i cant tell you why it wouldnt pass emissions..if it passes in the typer it will pass in the civic. and it isnt hard to find. in fact, rather easy.

the integra and civic type r have completely different engines.
the integra had the same b18c5 as the usdm putting out 197hp and i think like 127lb torque

the civic tr came with a 1.6l b16b putting out 185hp and 118lb

the engines are pretty similar, will give you about the same response due to the lighter 1.6l engine and they are going to cost you about the same. but i dont know about getting these to pass emissions, japan has less strict laws on emissions testing so there might be a little work needed to pass them..your best bet would be to go with the usdm b18c5. i would go with the b16b though. just to stand out. they are both incredible works though.
