Half assed race with a 4g accord...

Kinda funny... today on my way home I was crusin along goin about 70 in the center lane of a 3 lane highway, when I see a car flying up in the right hand lane (4th gen Accord LX)... I was in 5th gear, and wasn't even looking for a race, but mashed the gas anyways.

I lost sight of him, and thought mabey he turned off, so I let off the gas a little, and start to slow back down... as soon as I let off the gas, he goes flying by me... I guess he was right in my blind spot or something. He was trying to get ahead of me before the road narrows down into 1 lane...

After he went flying by, he cuts in front of me, so I'm like whatever, and downshift to 4th, and change into the far left lane. It didnt take much time for me to catch him, and I look down at my speedo and see its maxed at 85mph... I think we were actually going 90-95 in a 55, but anyways... I just kept it floored and prayed that the intersection up ahead would stay green until I got through...

I shifted into 5th right before we hit the intersection, and kept pulling ahead, until I had to brake for a bunch of cars that were actually doing the speed limit (what were they thinking? :P)

I guess the guy didn't get enough, because he comes flying up behind me, and passes both me, and the car in front of me with cars coming the opposite direction... I didn't really feel like risking a head on collision, so I just waited till it was safe to pass, and gee what a surprise... I caught him again :P

Gotta love those middle aged men in old booty Accords thinking they are fast...
