Half ass radio install question
I drive a box truck at work with NO radio. Some of the guys just have car radios wired up sitting up on the dash, Stupid question, but is there anyway to hook up a radio that works off the ac power like that in a house?
I don't think so, but maybe someone out there can tell me otherwise. A car radio laying on the dash is just tough for me to accept, but i may have to do that! |

Re: Half ass radio install question
You can get a power invertor that plugs into the cig lighter, just make sure you check how much power the radio you plan on plugging into it takes and then get an invertor that can put out atleast that much power. It won't be wired up to the speakers in the car though, it will have to play off of its own speakers.
