no one really responded the last time I put this up, so i'll give it another shot. MY Spec V was ordered officially april 1 from the factory in Mexico....did anyone else in the U.S. use this process to get their Spec V, rather than getting it off the lot? And if so, how long was it until the car arrived at your dealer? Thanks

I didn't have to order mine, but i have ordered alot of vehicles from the factory in the past (business related vehicles) for the most part we recieved them in 3 months, but these were usually vehicle lines that were not in production yet. The spec v is in production now, i got mine straight off the truck, hadn't even touched the lot. I would bet you see it in you driveway in 3 weeks or less. Why did you have to order? couldn't the dealer will call or trade from another dealer? Most dealerships will trade for cars that they don't have in stock.

I ordered a black Spec V with the ABS/Side airbag package, but no audio package or sunroof. My dad knows the dealer, so we got it for $250 over invoice, thus it was really my only option to get it from that dealer unless I wanted to pay more. It was ordered On April 4th officially, but the sales manager is telling me he thinks it will be there June 10th. Sounds like longer than it will actually take to me, I am hopeing its here by mid May. Anyway, I'll keep u updated. Thanks for the reply

I don't know how you can handle the wait, but it will be that much better when you do get it.

Yeah I cant wait to get it, but i'm sure the wait will be worth it!...Anyway, got some good news a few days ago, the salesman called and gave a new date of May 15th, which is much better than the original June 10th quote...We will see, I am ready for it!:flash:
