In Progress: Tamiya EVO 7 WRC

hi guys,

havent been doing cars since the 206
so here's my evo 7 so far, internals mostly done.. still got to touch up some parts once the glue dries

those photoetch car buckles are a real pain with no steady hands of mine

lol, i know what you mean about the photoetched seat belts, i have the same problem, but it looks really good.

Looks to be a good start. I also know what you mean about unsteady hands. Mine shake like a leaf in the wind..!!

Looks good. Did they stop with the color-coded suspension arms with the VII, or did you just forget them?

Is it stock in the paint and stuff? These pictures will come in handy for detailing my Heller 1/43 kit.

the suspension arms are still colour-coded, i just got lazy and did the minimum..

will be TRYING to finish this by mid June still got a few layer of gloss to go, plus the details (antenna, screen wiper, headlights etc)
polish and wax

Do you gloss over the window trim as well then? Or do you go back and repaint those afterwards?

Car looks nice, I always struggle with the pe stuff too.

i intend to gloss the window trim as well. a bit difficult to separate the semigloss window trim with the gloss finish

Why not get yourself some testors semigloss clear? Then you can detail paint it. At least, that's why I intend to do with my focus.
