D16Z6 swap into 92 civic VX
i was hoping someone could help. this might sound like a dumb question but i want to swap in a D16Z6 into my 92 civic VX. I bought a parts car that is running (a 94 Civic EX) and I want to switch the engine into my VX. My question is do I need to use the EX complete wire harness to the ECU for the swap or will my factory VX wire harness work? I know I will need to switch ECU's but is there anything else? thank you.

Re: D16Z6 swap into 92 civic VX
yes, you can keep the entire stock vx harness setup. its the exact same. look at the car in my signature, its my baby, and its a VX with a z6 swap. its already wired for vtec, just make sure you use a p28 computer.

lol, we have identical cars. I got a '92 VX hatch with a D16z6 swap too. Small world of motors eh?
