I was just wondering if the install for the AEM intake was difficult for the Spec V's. What do you do with all the sensors? How much power will it add?
THANKS, XeUz |

Putting in a CAI is really easy and straight forward....But as far as all the the sensors (2 of them) are still being used...one sensor is on the MAF which stays connected and is used and the other plugs right into the bottom tube...
The intake consists of 3 rubber sleeves 2 pipes 1 filter and roughly 7 clamps but it'll assembly in this order from throttle body out. Rubber sleeve 1st pipe rubber sleeve MAF rubber sleeve second tube filter.... I hope this helps....If you need to see apic let me know and I'll provide one for ya...

isn't it MAF then MAF adaptor? or is that implied?
![]() btw, make sure you plug in all the sensors before you start your car, or you get the dreaded check engine light. gene, the boards look completely wiped out tonight. but tomorrow's the 10th day for mine, so hopefully mine will go out (like it did for serge). |
