help! drum to disc swap

I'm picking up the whole rear disc from a 90 crx si for my 91 civic hb dx. I need to know if there is anywhere i can get the brake lines i need(either rubber or braided) and what ones i need to get?

Also does anyone know what e-brake cable i need since i'm going from drums to discs?

does anyone know where i can find out how to put on the rear sway bar? i hear its only 4 bolts.

any suggestions are very welcome.

thanks!!!

You should use the teg e-brake cables....they are a little bit long, but not much at all. As for the brake lines, I THINK the crx lines should work alright, but im not too sure. Are you getting the crx trailing arm as well, or just the disk/parts?

Yeah, sway bars are very easy to install. I installed mine in about 5min. it's just 4 bolts, and if you can't find the 4 bolts you shouldn't be driving.

Yea if the crx lines wont work for some reason then companies like neuspeed make stainless steel braided lines.

oh yeah...the 2 brackets for the teg ebrake lines arent the same as the stock brackets, and need to be "manipulated" a little bit to screw on

There is a website out there that has the exact parts and instructions on how to do a rear drum-to-disc conversion on a 4G civic. God I wish I still had that link. It comes from the how-to section of "The 4G Civic Site" if you are familiar with it. Sorry I forgot the link, but I figure this might help someone else remember it, or at least the "4G civic page"

I found a couple sites that might help. try these:

http://www.geocities.com/tjsite/rrdisc.htm
http://hybrid.honda-perf.org/tech/4g-brakes.html

I also found this one, but there doesn't seem to be a link to the actual how-to.

http://www.4thgenerationcivic.com/how-to's/How-To's.htm

Note that one of these sites actually recommends to swap the 4G front disc's with 5G Civic EX front discs. Larger rotors on the 5G.

Hope that helps.
