Hi all! Long time no post.
Just finished my integra rear trailing arm swap and need some help. The brakes work great. I switched out the rotors and brake pads with powerslot and green stuff. I haven't driven the car long enough to really test the brakes yet, but I can already tell an improvement. Now to the problem. It appears the wheels have been moved out with the switch. When I hit a bump the rear tires scrape against the fender. I know some of you have completed this swap. What's the deal? Did I install something incorrectly? The car has been lowered 1.25", and I have aftermarket 15" rims. I've already had it aligned. The guys at the shop didn't find anything wrong. Should I have it aligned at a local performance shop? Thanks for your help. Before I joined this group I couldn't even change my oil.

Roll your fenders (if you haven't already done that)...
It's really very easy to do: http://www.andrews.edu/~johnsonm/howto/rollfender.html

I'll try that!
Thanks Ci5ic! I didn't realize that was an option. I'll give it a try tonight. I might have to use a dowel rod or something. I don't think a bat will fit between my fender and tire.
I guess this means I can't get any wider wheels than I already have. Thanks for your help!

You can put on bigger/wider rims, they just have to have the proper offset....I think like 42 or higher and it will work.....I know worshp has 18's on a slammed CRX and doesnt rub

which control arms did you use? if you used the ones from the integra, thats the problem. the integra is a wider car, so the control arms are longer. use your stock control arms and compensator arm, and you will be good

Thanks again ci5ic. I was thinking I might be able to jack the car up, but hadn't gotten around to trying it yet. I'll try it tonight after I get home.
mightytexan, I need to look up more info about the offset. When I get new wheels I will have to make sure they fit around the brakes and inside the fender. Might be a while before I get to that. I might have to buy another house soon. Working up a down payment. Thanks for the great info!

incucivic, I used the stock civic upper and lower control arms. So that's not the reason for this problem. I am rolling the fenders in a few, I'll let you know if it solves the problem.
Thanks

It's all good!!
Thanks for all your help Ci5ic, mightytexn, and incucivic.
I rolled the rims this evening and took the car out for a spin. Drove it through a parking lot through some huge drainage dips. No scraping at all! Thanx! I'd post some pics of the rear discs and my car, but I haven't figured out the picture uploading yet. All the searches I did turned up old info.

johnnyM is the originator of the rear trailing arm swap.....he has a good offset wheel so hes ok....but he just got his rotor machined to bring the wheel in closer.
