Question Supercharging a B18C1?

I am guessing that this question has been asked before..but I need some ideas..

What does it consist of? what type of mods will I need to make it happen?
What type of supercharger? Any little goodies that I don't really NEED to buy, but would make a difference?

TY

When ever you start thinking about force inductions, it will always run you about 6,000$ if you want to do it correctly. Doesnt matter if its Turbo or supercharger, you need to strengthen your engine's internals. Get new pistons (lighter and stronger), connecting rods, valves, valve springs. Also when getting new pistons, the cylinder walls need to be bored and steel sleeves need to instered. This will make your cylinder walls stronger and ready for force induction. All that plus other little things and labor (you dont want to bore your cylinders with sandpaper) cost around 5-6grand. OH by the way you can ignore all of the things mentioned above if you dont have the cash. The supercharger should cost you around 3-4k. Jackson racing supercharger is a popular one. There is also vortec super chargers. The jackson racing super charger is set at 6psi, but you can guy a new gear that makes it to 8psi. The vortec super charger comes at around 8-9psi. Your car should run fine for about 2 and 1/2 yrs or around 30,000miles if you are only forcing 6-8psi of boost. There are other little things but this should give you a good idea.

It's gonna take quite a bit to supercharge or turbocharge your motor. Just like M-type said...you will need to build up the motor. You can always boost a stock motor but when you want higher boost you wont be able to do it because your motor isnt built for it.

only 30,000 miles on stock internals? is that on average or just a bad scenario?
