Nissan makes a heavy duty harness for your car, but you'll be lookin at around $130. If you don't want to spend that much, you can also just buy pep boys ones for like, 5 bucks each. basically you just want to look at what material the bulbs you want to get is made of. Usually the cheaper bulbs have plastic bases, which are more likely to melt. More expensive bulbs (PIAA, Raybrig, etc) make their bulb bases out of porcelin, or some other non heat conductive (but also more expensive) material.

well the porcelin base doesn't heat up as much, which should prevent the harness from melting. I would get higher quality bulbs anyway, just because the cheaper ones will probalby burnout after a few months. but the pep Boys harness can handle a decent amount of wattage. All you'd have to do is cut off the harness and crimp or solder the wires together. If you buy the 100 buck harness from the dealership, you get the whole harness from where it plugs in to the car, so no soldering, no crimping neccessary. So it'd be cleaner to just buy the higher wattage harnesses.

I bought the pepboy ones. I bought some freakin crazy 125/135 9004 bulbs and they melted the stock harnessess quick. I've had the pepboy ones on for 4 months and i'd even say they are brighter than the stock ones. I get people slowing down to get behind me and high beaming me then I just take off on their slow arses. Just those damn wedge bulbs are so weak and mine are piaa. Anybody know what wedge bulbs are the brightest????

I wouldn't waste my time with all the bulbs....I've bought cheap bulbs and they just suck ass and don't last worth shit....The last time I bought bulbs and its been 1.5 years now are the Koito bulbs...they are regular 55/60watt bulbs...no need for heavy duty wiring....I noticed a difference from the cheap bulbs and the koito bulbs....cheap bulbs have cheap tint...some tint even cracks(trust me I had a set that started cracking tint)...anyways the koito are light colored blue...they light up white and not blue...I know some of you are after the HID look alike but then why not just spend $350 on Ebay and get a set? Anyways its expensive bulbs but you can tell the difference at night and drive on the road....even my friends all say that my bulbs and housing light up the road very well and evenly compared to their cheap shit....
