2x blinkers?

I did an oops today and now my rear blinker blinks at 2x speed, and my front doesn't work. Both on the passenger side. I checked the fuses, and they are ok. So I think its the bulb.

I have a 1995 civic EX coupe. only engine mod is a short ram intake and removed resonator. Stock engine and all.

Ok, this may sound simple, but it isn't to me, and I looked through all the mainenance stuff and all but couldn't find an answer. The question is: How do you change the bulb for the front right (looking from steering wheel to engine) corner bulb? Not the main headlamp, the parking light. The bulb, how do you get to it? It seems impossible.

Thanks for a quick response, the quicker is better for me, but detail is also welcome!

open hood
look at light
look at screw holding corner light to headlight housing
unscrew this screw
remove corner light housing
unscrew bulb harness
twist bulb out and remove
examine bulb for broken filiments.
replace bulb

reverse process.

very simple to do. check connections too, normally when a bulb goes out, or a turn signal is not connected, it blinks rapidly.

Thanks. But I unscrewed the screw you are talking about and the housing didn't budge. Are you sure thats the only thing holding the light in? I tried that but it wouldn't give. I'll give it another go.

And all the connections seemed fine. I thought about that too.

Thanks for the help.

It's held onto the headlight with a clip. Just pull it foward it hard enough and it'll come out.

When one bulb burns out (or is disconnected) the other one blinks twice as fast ....

alright guys, thanks. I had to have my front bumper replaced a year ago, and I didn't know I had to specify I wanted certified honda parts, so they gave me a crap ass bumper that doesn't fit quite right, and it was getting in the way. You were exactly right, I just had to fight with it for a bit. When I got it out, it wasn't fully connected to the bulb, something must have jarred it loose. The bulb was fine! yay! so I hooked it back up and now all is good. Thanks, you guys probably saved me 60 bucks to take it down to just have them say "oh a connection was loose." This place is great for high or low tech help both. Thanks for the help again.

Another question: If I took out the corner asssembly again, would it be that easy to swap the bulb housing for clear corners? Just a twist and and a pull and then it swaps right into the new one? And is it possible to turn the ones I have now into clear corners? And also are clear corners legal?

Thanks a million.

You need an orange reflector that can be seen from the side of the car and the light needs to shine orange for it to be legal. So 50% ain't that bad.

might vary by state. Look in your DMV manual. It'll say what you need to have as "required equipment" I know in Oregon, you only have to have a white or orange light for the turn signal. Doesnt say anything about a reflector. I carry a copy of the highlighted DMV manual just in case I get pulled over.
