Re: Williams FW07

Super clean and beautiful as we expect from you 935k3.
Did you paint the geen or use the decals? Does the cowl come in two pieces or did you saw it up? I built this kit over twenty years ago and only remember it being one piece.

Thanks for the compliments everybody. The paint is Krylon white and Tamiya racing green(no decals) I did separate the body as the real car broke down. It takes allot of work to get it all to fit together. If you notice every pic of a build of this car has a step(not flush)fit on top of the side pods wher the two pieces meet.

Yes. It will be the Leyland version not the the version using the infamous Bin Laden decal.

Nice start so far. I remember you asking for pics, I came across another site for you with pictures. FW07 Just go to reference pictures section and they are some nice shots in there.

Finished sanding, cleaning and hand lettering the tires and sealing with semi-flat clear. I haven't hand lettered any for a while, I used Craft store acrylic paint applied with toothpicks because it is thicker and covers better than the hobby paints. Errors can be scraped off with a clean toothpick.

Re: Williams FW07

They look really really nice.
I find that Tamiya polycarbonate paints also work well on rubber.
