240 wheel questions

Quick question. I am looking for a wheel for my 90 240. I am going to be putting a lot of power down and wanted something that would work well. I want a 16" wheel b/c I am going to be using it for autox, daily driving and getting sideways. I want something that is close to 8" wide and very light. I was looking at the Rota Slipstreams but they don't come wide enough in the 16s. What tire would be good for these uses as well? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, btw, what is the bolt pattern for the 90 240? Thanks for the space.

on the 1990 240SX you are much better off using a 7.5" wide wheel because of clearance issues .... we have many selections that you might want to take a look at ...

my personal choice in the "bang for the buck" is the Kosei K1 Racing ...

bolt pattern

your bolt pattern is 4x114.3. 7.5 in is wide enough. Rota's may be light, but they are cast, which may mean they are weak. You probably want something forged. 5-Zigen FN-01R comes in cast and forged, and they are reasonably priced. Racing Hart Evolution CP10's are forged as well as CP8's. These are very affordable. www.Wheelmax.com has cheap package deals. If you look around, you can find used Volk rims in that size for a reasonable price. Kosei K1 is a good choice and comes in many sizes, too. I hope this helps.
