needs some advises on repair....thx

just made another thread here to get more advise. My car hit the curb real bad when making a turn (All because of this f-king rock on the road). The front right rim & tire got damaged and so did few other things attached to the wheel. Got it towed to infiniti today and they said around $1800 to fix it. To me, it's like they can charge whatever they want. Since this is my first car and have not much experience with things like it; should I go somewhere else to get it fixed or better let them (infiniti) do it ? thxxxxxx

See if you can get a couple more people to give you an estimate on it. $1800 just seems too high to me.

Man!!!
I don't know if you are going through your insurance on this but here are some prices that I can give you through my site www.infinitipartsusa.com... Sorry guys I am a dealer and I don't mean to take advantage of the forum but I just want you to know how some dealers are ripping customers off.
(REAL LIST $) (MY $)
1) 54428-0E001 - ($30.49) ($22.88)
2) 54500-2J011- ($183.48) ($137.61)
3) 54524-3J201 - ($115.23) ($86.43)
4) 54592-7J125 - ($114.76) ($86.06)
5) 56110-3J126 - ($58.90) ($44.18)
6) 40300-9F585 - ($385.84) ($294.20)
"REAL LIST" is what Infiniti says we should charge, and "MY $" is what I charge....
How fast were you going??? I find it a little hard to believe you need that much stuff if you were going under 40-50 MPH...

thx man... i was definitely going under 40. I think i'll pay that myself. I got 1000 deductible, so won't help much anyway if I ask insurance to pay. I know this guy is stroking me... do you have any advise of what I should do? my car is at their place right now and think they are ordering parts meanwhile... should i just get the parts myself or do you think I can show them ur list and bargain???
