h22a accord?

let's say i had a newer generation honda accord....an ex coupe.....i want to be pretty quick........i haven't seen many quick accords........i hope to get into the low 14's or possibly 13's.......i was thinking about getting the h22 swap but is it very difficult?........remember....98+ accord....any kind of h22a.......and don't want it to be difficult......also......would it be better to keep the stock f23?.......what's your opinions?

Don't you know, it's 10 hp for every sticker, 50 hp extra for every additional inch of rear spoiler behond stock height.

Since it's going to be 98+ then you will want the H22A4. I would recommend doing it. The coupe is definitley lighter than a sedan. I think the best you will get into all motor is like high 14's low 15's. I dont really know though because i've never seen it done on a 98+ coupe, just the sedan but the mounts are all the same so it would work.

Keep the stock f23????????
Go with the H22. It's much better. I wish I could put a H22 in my car. All that torque.

that's what i thought too......the thing is this guy kept telling me that it's not worth it.......that it wouldn't be easy to do.......but since accords have a similar size engine (2.2 to a 2.3)......i didn't think i'd be too difficult......since civics and shit drop in h22's.......how much do u think it'll cost?........

he said something about an immoblizer......that it's a bitch to get around........he said u have to reprogram the ecu or bypass it.......i don't know what the hell that is.......explain?.......

Man, you need to go somewhere else. Especially if you're down in the 213 there HAS to be people in the area who know what they're talking about. That swap will not be a problem. It will run you no more than $6K and that's on the way high side.
