OK this sucks it snowed a bunch and now its melting and the road are COVERD in salt!
So my question concerns my car...there is a rubber strip that runs along the inside top of the rear fenderwells...well a friend told me to remove them asap because all they do is trap dirt and salt and hold it there and that's why so many Hondas get rust along that area. Is this true? Should i reomove them....Why are they their in the first place??

The reason honda put them in there is because they didnt want that lip to rust and then spread to the outside of the wells and leave big holes everywhere. As for the salt...that's what eats up cars. having that strip on there decreases the chance of rust.
