** Finished Pug 206: 50%rally,50%tuning... yes, a crazy project!! (56kb Beware) **

Hello people!

I present here one of my last projects, made for an aid. They only could participate Peugeots 206 (1/18 and 1/24), and couldn't have photos of the process by Internet, for that reason I put now the finished model in AF.

The ideas that I have combined in this project were combine rally and tuning (closely bound in an origin) and, in addition, demonstrate how a same base can change radically according to the point of view. The base is a Tamiya 206, as it puts in the plates, with kit of Esquiss Auto Virtuel modified in the middle car and in other means the version of 206 WRC 2003 of Montecarlo, drived by Richard Burns and co-drived by Robert Reid.

- Part WRC, interior: Of box except the fuel tank, cut to half and covered in granary of carbon, and rollbar, cut to half of the car.

- Part WRC, chassis and outside: Of box, except the chassis protections (cut to half) and the lateral intermittent, suppressed and replaced by one of orange crystal coming from a Tamiya Subaru Impreza.
In addition, I have only painted average "206" (number) in the front grid, as well as parasol decal, aileron, plates, back antifog, air intakes of hood and air intake of ceiling all cut to half, like all the decals that go in the dividing line between both "worlds". Air valve in the wheels.

- Esquiss Auto Part, interior: Ground smoothed by means of flat Evergreen. Back seat coming from a Maisto Impreza, also divided in two parts and a magazine in the tray. Baquet front is a resin copy of OscarTunero coming from a EVO VI. Rugs done in evergreen for the seats front and back. All the interior is combined in black and a sand tone of the Tamiya catalogue.

- Esquiss Part Car, outside:
- Complete Kit (half ) Virtuel of Esquiss Auto, bumpers, sideskirts and fins extensions.
- The front antifogs take crystals of Subaru Impreza.
- Rear-view fact with the the 206 base and the body of a Focus, with the mirror of transparent plastic.
- Intermittent lateral of Subaru Impreza.
- Tinted tail light with Smoke.
- Smoothed back inner door until half.
- Rear and back street plates.
- Locks and gunners, air intakes of thehood and back antenna are suppressed .
- Smoothed lateral moldings.
- Nose light Cibié type, painted in black.
- Darkened lines of the body.
- Fujimi rims and brakes of the same manufacturer, to imitation of Brembo, with yellow clamps.


The prize that they have given me (between the 10 Tops was a drawing, there isn't "podium" or classification of the winners... single winners or nonwinning of the aid ) it is mini-drill with many accessories (that I will use for my Dremel ) and a desk light with an increase lens, good prizes IMO. In addition, between all the offerers were drawn for 600€

Very interesting idea. I once saw an Impreza in a similar way at the Sydney Motorshow - half street STi and half Possum Bourne Group N rally car. Good to see someone have a go on a model.

just a sugestion for next time, I would make the tuner side an other color. It took me few picture to understand what was going on. (it's just an idea)
