If you're a guy...

And you are fashion aware, does that make you gay? I mean, just cuz we're male, doesn't mean we're idiots when it comes to clothes, hairstyles, and style in general. Myself, I like to design clothes sometimes--especially dresses. But I'm straight. I like the ladies and am secure with my sexuality.

I just think it's a very bad stereotype.

Its not gay anymore, at least like it used to be. Maybe back 5 or 6 years ago, but now, its cool. Im sure many guys do things that would be considered gay, but just do it cause they enjoy it.

big 'so what?' from me,I am pleased to say.If being a clothes horse is your thing....good for you.As long as I can turn out to suit the day, I'm happy. If you feel the urge to wear all the 'right' labels, even when you are just mooching around the house,I'm very happy for you.Me...I tend to be laid back when it comes to 'fashion'.After all,the essence of fashion is doing what you are told is trendy. That's not me.

No, I'm not a label fiend. I'm actually anti-brand name. I just buy what looks good. I wasn't talking about that. I was talking about designing clothes and outfits. And no, I don't follow trends--I make commentaries and follow them if I like them, but I don't go for EVERYTHING that is in. There are ALOT of "in" trends that I despise and I'm glad I'm not brain-washed like some people into liking them. No, I trend set.

Thumbs up sheezy

Glad to hear all the positives.

Of course, I could be biased because I run my own clothing company!

It would be silly to say that just because a guy is up to date on the current fasions and is dressed nicely that he is gay. This would be kind of like saying that any girl on this forum who likes cars and likes to work on cars is obviously gay.

I think i'm "fasion aware" and I try to be dressed nicely most of the time, of course my job calls for me to wear a suit so usualy you'll catch me in a button up and black slacks and a tie but sometimes I just have to relax and wear my ravekid pants that are ever so comfortable and whatever I find laying around in the way of a t shirt

no, I don't really think your gay if you design clothes, one of my buddies wants to make his own clothes and hes not gay. I personally don't care about clothes I put on what's not dirty and wear it.

As long as the clothes fit, I could give a rats ass if it makes "fasion" sense. The clothing industry is just like cosmetics - a rip off. They start a trend and berate you if you dont spend outrageous sums of money to keep up with it. Buts thats my opinion. However, if its something a guy is into, they are no more gay then anyone else. Its just their thing.

:sun: :sun: well i myself dress to impress all the time.. well when i know there gona be purty ladies. But just because u like to look nice and your not an ass about it. Shit unless your realy gay, dressing good dont mean a thing. just means u could and everyone else is jealous.

I my self love the causual look, sweater tops slacks, jeans button shurt. If it looks good on ya and you can afford it then why not. just make sure u match. better to look good than to look stuped.

:sun: :flash:

I think it would be kind of cool if I were able to design my own underwear, cause man... it's hard to find a good fit when you are built like a horse
