MTI 422 Z07 Vette (right click save as)

It's a Z06...they call it a Z07. But it's so fast, I think they can call it whatever they want.

That motor is the prettiest thing I've heard all week.

An Ultima GTR, as I see it is a rather uniquie (ugly) car... but fast it is.

Uses a Chevy 6.3L (383ci) V8... 534bhp - 528ft-lbs torque.

Pretty Impressive for a non-EFI car. (Read: Carbureted)

Ultima Sports Ltd

EDIT: Although, since it's a kit car you can use any Chevy based small block. Such as a LT1, probably not the LS1 due to the motor mounts being different. But if you really wanted a LS1 you could always fabricate your own mounts.

Re: Think you're fast? Not compared to this guy.

Yeah, I'm currently saving up for the first few stages of the build.
There's some guy in Utah(I believe) that already has a twin turbo'd LS1 out of a C5 making roughly 1 grand in hp dept.
There was a feature on one out of Chicago using an LS1 with LS6 heads in Car Craft a couple months ago.
Its does get some getting used to(looks,if it didn't capture you at first) I'm planning taking a little time off in Medford,Oregon so I can witness the car first hand. Brammo Motorsports is one of the three companies in the US currently selling GTR's and Can-Am's or building your kit for you. Waiting until summertime before going up though, as I don't care for snow(I drive an semi for Werner)

Re: Think you're fast? Not compared to this guy.

I thought this was gonna be impressive :P

It's definitely lacking considering I've seen Shepherds Talon videos. (no replacement for displacement unless you're Jon Shepherd with a 4g63).

Just so you know, his latest run is 8.767.

And he drives it there and back.

I will admit, it is a nice vette
