special edition just means they couldnt sell enough of them, so they slap on a badge and some new rims and jack the price up.

Yeah, special editions usually come up before the model year ends. I kinda like the original look of the 1998-2001 Accord instead of the special ed. The front grill looks more aggressive, kinda like the Acura Integra's.

Anyway, I think the new Accord will not have the double wishbone front suspension as the previous and current Accords have. That's what they did to the new Civic and Integra (RS). This means that the front of the car will not have as lower profile as the current model--therefore not so sporty looking. Look how stubby the hoods of new Civics, RS's, and the 2003 Corolla compared to their previous models. I think that this design saves the company more money, at the cost of art.

PS. The current Civic and Acura RS models all have MacPherson strut front suspensions, which is cheaper to install than the double wishbone suspension that Honda has been famous for. However, the struts raise the hoodlines of such cars.

I was wrong. The 2003 Accord still has its double-wishbone front suspension. YESSSS! Thank you Honda.
