Magnetic Oil Pan Drain Plug

Figure Id post this here, saw it on the sr20 mailing list.

from James McCoil - I've had a number of emails asking where I got my magnetic oil pan drainplug. Information is here:

www.superplug.com

It's a bit expensive, but the magnet is very powerful, and it's quite long,
so it really gets into the oil flow in the pan.

I called and got the following...

Part Number SP225 (M12 X 1.25)
Cost $19.95
Shipping $5.00

Right now they are back ordered, should be getting them in *soon*

What is the thread count on the oil pan plug? I saw magnetic drain plugs in the recent Pegasus Auto Racing Supplies catalog. It was a 2 piece system, which was self-sealing. It allowed you to pull out the magnetic portion while oil was still in the pan to check for pieces.
