H22 into 4th gen. need some info
ive searched around and found a few sites but im more concerned whats all needed to swap this. i heard that the f22s tranny can be used so do i need the h22 block, head, intake mani, exhaust mani, distro, ecu i think this might be a possibility if i sell my hatch and get an accord. how much does this usually cost if i do the work my self
thanks nic |

the shop you order it from can tell you, but mainly it's the COMPLETE motor+tranny, ECU & wires...the intake manifold would remain, but not intake pipe - exhaust manifold is gone, unless shop says different. have the clutch & ALL belts (timing & drive) inspected before install; easier to do outside of car and new motor mounts (might as well get the urethane bushings to.)

i think this will help you in pricing -> http://www.jdmclub.com/index2.html
get with prelude's manual. accord's manual will work with H22, but you will lose some performance. prelude's manual has close ratio, accord's manual is more on econo-side. |
