3rd gen into 4th gen turbo motor swap

Will a 3rd gen turbo motor fit into a 4th gen eclipse RS?
If so, what ALL(meaning will wiring harness have to be swapped or just new computer put in and run a few xtra wires, will exhaust bolt up, fuel lines, etc.) is involved?

Any inputs will help ALOT!

Re: 3rd gen into 4th gen turbo motor swap

there isnt a 4th gen yet!!! if your talking about the 95-99 (2nd gen) motor fitting into a 2000+ (3rd gen)... you can fit it in there just there is goin to be a lot of money into the swap! you would be better off buying a turbo or supercharger kit for your motor that is in there right now!

you will basically need everything out of the engine bay from a 2nd gen to be put into the engine bay of the 3rd gen... so either turbo or supercharge your motor or sell your car and buy a 2nd gen thats already turboed!
