I was skimming around and I came across the Evo 8 coming out in 2004. I even have a link: http://www.geocities.com/busybeetoys/scoop/edn-33.htm
It isn't much but it tells a little about it. I wonder if we are going to get them here in the states. Hopefully. |

I dont believe it. Its kinda of early for an EVO VIII to already be out.
That thing about INVEC after the jap writing makes it seem like its actually the E7 GT-A there talking about. Thats also where rumours start, when some idiot says EVO VIII on a upgraded EVO VII model.. not refering to you NewLancer. |

Nice photoshop on that 6spd evo 7, if you look closly you can see the blue change colour over the fender on the right. At least now I know what a TM evo6 front looks like on a 7.

Yeah! I thought it was kinda early for an Evo VIII too. The whole idea of me finding that was because on www.body-kit.com under the body kit section they mention Evo VIII so I just kinda looked and that came up. For all I know it can be just someone trying to play a game, but nonetheless I thought I would be nice and share what I saw.

I don't see any reason for mitsi to re release the evo 7 with one extra cog.
It goes fast enough with 5. |

A 6 speed means even shorter gearing tahn with an EVO 5 speed. Don't know if I can handle a stick 6 speed. Hitting the Rev limiter now already very often.
