Good to see Polar Lights is maintaining momentum with their new releases. Can't wait to have both GTO's in hand.

All the new Polar Lights kits will be full detail (motor detail and everything). They are prepainted though, but a day in 91% alcohol completely removes all paint very cleanly. leaving nothing left.

I'm hoping on of the "Drift" GTO's will come with the correct factory lettering. if not, there always the aftermarket, anyway its great to see an American model manufactuer getting into Drift cars.

Its gonna be interesting to see how the PL 05 Mustang will compare with the Revell. They should both be on the market about the same time. also looking foward to the GT, PL mistakenly called it a GT-40. which it is'nt, its the new 05 version of the car.

no new AMT kits, but RC2 (which ownes AMT) bought out Polar Lights back in August. I guess that RC2 is gonna use PL name to bring out new kits. AMT's got some great reissues coming out though. like the 77 Mustang II, Which has'nt been seen in stock form since 78, I'm hoping its the MPC tooling and not the AMT, The MPC is better detailed. also hoping the 76 Nova is the MPC tooling, The AMT tooling of that body styled Nova is a little off in some area's.

The 69 Cuda has been on my Holy Grail list for a long time.great too see it reissued by it self. its was last seen in the mid 90's as a three pack 1969 kits which came with a 69 Hurst Olds and a 69 Ford Torino. it was last issued by itself in 1987, by MPC

The 69 Riv is going to be eaten up by the lowrider guys, not as detailed as the AMT current 66 kit. but with a little work it can make one helluva a nice Lowrider. that kit was last seen in 1996 under AMT's Buyer Choice program.

That is a good reminder, gasman, Revell and Polar Lights are both kitting the new Mustang and it will be an interesting comparison between the kits.

I'm betting on the PL kit being easier to assemble, while the Revell kit has higher detail. PL will have slightly soft body contours but generally accurate proportions, while Revell will get the contours on the money but will compromise certain things like wheel & tire size to avoid having to tool up new tires.

As far as the reissue bounty is concerned, keep 'em coming. RC/Ertl has the right idea if this is their game plan, especially if it means that they reissue the Hawaiian Tropic Laguna stock car kit.

The Bentley is waaaaaaaaaaaay out of left field.

And a bit of a bummer, too, becuase the car looks like a pregnant guppy and has absolutely nothing to do with a proper Bentley. It's an Audi masquerading as a Bentley, and is far from one of Crewe's finest.

Honestly. Compare this......

To the majestic coupe it replaces.
