tie rod

hey anyone know anything about tie rods? i was told mine is loose and needs to be replaced. can i do it myself? is it expensive otherwise? thanks

If you have the right tools, I don't think it will be to difficult if you have a jack, or have access to a hoist! I had a tie rod end replaced, i think it was under 200 dollars, i forget the price, but it included labor!
