New Contest Entry: R32 Skyline ~Soon 56k Beware~

I decided to make this r32 my Weapon of Choice for this contest, I haven't won any contest for die casts yet, so i guess this online one will probally be my start...

I've had other contest entries, but they all were MotorMax, a very toyish Die cast company.. So i decide to go with Jada more detail from my previous
Heres the previous contest entry to see what i mean...
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=275934

These are before/progress so it can count for the contest...

What i have planned for the 1st process of bodywork is the Front R32 kit. Its pretty sad that im going to grind the crap out of the stock front bumper, but in the end, should be well wroth it

Unlike my previous Projects (about 1000,000 of them) I'll Stay on top of things, now that i got some personal issues out the way...

Much better then the other one. What do you got planned for the front bumper? Any 1:1 bumper you are modeling it after, or are you just going to combine a bunch of pieces from a few different bumpers?

looks promising, ill have to keep lokoing, have a look at www.briansmodelcars.com it is for styrene models but there is a kick ass tutorial on making your own intercoolers that is really worthwhile looking at. There are also tuts. on stuff like homemade sports teering wheels.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I've seen that site/Tut many times. Also, Jay@Af has a pretty nice tut as well.

Can't speak for anyone else put I'm very partial to Veilsides kits for the R32:

This looks like what the car already has.

Re: New Contest Entry: R32 Skyline ~Soon 56k Beware~

Okay, my brainstorm is comming to an end, I have an idea of what im going to do. These are the last set of before pictures I will take.

*Exterior will have a Full bodykit (5 Peiced, Mix combination).

*Interior will be Two Tone.

*Paint will be Midnight Marine Pearl blue.

*Wheels will be by Peagasus, Deep dished two toned also.

*Engine will be Detailed, outfited with CF/chrome.

It will also have alot of little goodies that i wont explain here.m This r32 will have a few Silvia modifications.

Now its just getting started.

Interior :EXAMPLE: Not Final

Didnt come as good as i thought, Many mold lines needed to be smoothed out.
