1:24 Skyline R34 GT-R Progress: ~Contest Entry~

I didn't feel right modifying an SUV. So i picked up this Skyline for around ten buks. I must say, its a really crappy model. Left hand drive Skyline? and Looks like a VQ35 engine

Heres some pictures of the engine I plan to rebuld.

These are basicly "before" pictures. Next time you see this, Paint and nasty decals will be gone, and ride height will be even/lowered on Pegasus's deep dish wheels.

Update: Suspension
I got rid of the nasty magnet wheels and thick plastic suspension. and added a whole new stiffy set-up. Now i can buy 1/24 scale aftermarket plastic wheels. I took the suspension from my 1/24 180sx along with the wheels and breaks. I will soon upgrade to bigger/deeper wheels.

Surry for the crapy pix, my cam was low on juice.

I say either make the doors non functional or fix the big ass gaps. So far the suspension looks good.

In those pics, the doors weren't completely shut. Doors open and close.

Is that caliper loose or is it actually in the front? Also what are the rest of your plans?

Wow thats got to be one of the worst looking models i have ever seen. I love the rim choice and height. Now get rid of those huge mold lines on the front bumper and strip that paint, look how thick it looks. EWW!

Good luck Josh, your gonna need it.
