warped body
Ok, i've tried the microwave, ive tried bending, ive rubberbanded it.... nothing is getting it to where I want it. how can i fix my car body?

Did you try putting the body in boiling water and let it cool down warped the in the opposite way (am i clear here ?)?

I'm trying that, but i've never really had any luck. I read somewhere just now to put it in hot water and then freeze it....hot sure if thats bad to do though...ill let you know how it turns out.

not that realy show anything. The body is in 2 halves. because of packing, i think, the roof was smooshed down causeing the sides to bend out. The sides were about 1/4 to 1/2" from the bottom. The heat and cool got the sides to within a 1/16", shich glue can handle.

Microwave won't do much, as it can only heat the water molecules, and plastic doesn't have much.
Coincidentally, I just fixed a warped body of my diablo kit yesterday. Boiling water didn't fix the problem, so I made my own jig as shown below, and I heated the body with a hair-dryer for 1 minute. Then, I waited for overnight. That fixed my problem. This method is a little risky, but it can be done with caution. Remember that hair-dryer can melt plastic easily, so touch the body occasionally and check for over-heating.
