Question I have a dilemna ?!?!?

I'm debating if I should sell my stock G20 wheels and tires or not, and if so how much do you think I can get for them? Their pretty much brand new, straight from the factory, with under 2k miles on them. My dilemna is if I sell them, I won't have anything for my "back-up" wheels, but I will have some much needed money...what do you think? sell or not?

I say you should keep them. From personal experience, you'd want to have back up wheels. When it snows out here and other cases of wierd shit, I wouldn't want to ruin my new rims. So like for example, in the winter I used to put my factory rims on. In the summer, my new rims. Just as a suggestion, I think you should keep them cuz you never know.

If you really need the dough . . . sell 'em for now. Spring is just getting into full swing, we've got time before winter comes around.

As a temporary cure for your money blues, get rid of the stockers, because when you need a second set, you can always pick up a set of used stock wheels for cheap

I'm sure someone w/ a P10 would love to have P11 rims, they look much better. I would've liked to purchase them from you, but i already have my set.

Sell them and use the money.

My old ones just sat in the shed for a whole year as i didnt want to sell them just incase. But i never used them and it seemed a waste of money just setting there.

I just sold mine in the weekend. The whole lot for $400NZ.
Had 2 new tyres and all the nuts as well.

Thumbs up

Try ebay or somethin' . . . let others dictate how much they are willing to pay for them.

I think you'll get the most you possibly can by going that route . . .

I agree, you live in Texas, snow isn't an issue for you. Sell them. Sell them. SELL THEM!! Use the money for your car, of course (hey, they were the cars, not spending the money on your car would be like robbery)
E-bay should work. Its the best possible option. Try contacting Infinity, they should have some suggestions.

I actually know someone else in Houston with a P10 looking for a deal on P11 wheels. He's moving his GAB wheels on his P10 to his S14 that is getting a built SR20DE with turbo (not a DET).

Well, keeping the wheels for backup doesn't hurt either. Mine were in storage for a 1.5 years but I'm glad I didn't sell them because I'm using them now while my SSRs get powdercoated. Plus, it gives me more time to save $$ for new tires!!

hey p10det (george) - How much would he or she be willing to pay for these wheels?

I have the 2001 g20t wheels, the ones with the 6-spoke splits, 15x6 with 195/60 rated tires, still in excellent condition, with only 2k miles on the wheels & tires. Let me know :alien:

p.s. great to see other houston g20 owners...so where do most of the se-r houston guys hang out cause i've never seen you guys cars before, everytime i go downtown off of westhiemer and stuff i see nothing but honda's, i'm up in the woodlands so i'm only like 20-30 min. from kingwood, but anyways...:flash:

Shoot, you should come over this weekend. I'm planning on installing the DET. It may happen in a week and a half from now though. I'm waiting to hear about a business trip I'm supposed to take next weekend (it might not happen).

You can get my e-mail address from my web site:

I'll get a hold of Al to try to put him in touch with you.
