Amplifier Dilemna :)
I need some opinions here. I am going to install one of two amps in my system. I am more into sound quality rather than SPL. Here's what I have to choose from:
1. ALPINE 3555 4x50W RMS @ 12V 2. ALPINE 3566 4x30W + 2x60W RMS @ 12V I have some 6" TYPER Alpine front door speakers, and some MB QUart 4" for the rear doors. I have a single custome 12" box under rear seat which is holding a Kicker CVR12" Now, I could use the 4ch amp and use 2ch to run my speakers at 2ohms, the bridge the other 2 for my sub. OR I could use the 6ch alpine to run everything at 4ohm (cleaner, but less power) bridging the 2x60W channels gives me 160W 4ohm @ 12V which I suppose is close to 180 at 14.4V. I will be selling the amp I dont use, so I need to make a decision. |

Use both. Run one to the high and mids and one to the sub.

Re: Amplifier Dilemna :)
I decide on the 3566. If anyone is interested in the 3555, here it is:
