Lightbulb Does anyone know how to program a 1996 honda civic remote??



I WILL BE PURCHASING A REMOTE ON EABY SOON AND NEED TO KNOW HOW TO PROGRAM IT TO WORK WITH MY 1996 HONDA CIVC EX.

(IT CAME OUT OF 1998 HONDA DX)

DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO PROGRAM THESE????

HELP!!!

Exclamation "REMOTE"



The remote is a keyless entry/security remote. (the honda factory remote)
once the factory radio is removed it doesn't werk so i guess the previous owner got rid of the remote--i got it werking again and need to re program a 1998 honda civic remote
to werk with my 1996 civic. If anyone can help please post a reply!!!

u mite be better off buying a decent alarm with keyless entry, immobiliser, shock sensors etc... better to be safe than sorry.

A civic is easy to program. It runs off the radio, so you must have the factory radio, else you need an aftermarket system.:sun:
