Arrow Looking for a Cutlass Supreme...

im looking into getting a 92-97 Cutlass Supreme 2 door. Possibly a convertible, but probably a coupe. are there any problems associated with these vehicles that i should look out for? as far as mileage goes, i dont really want to get anything with over 100,000 miles. thanks to anyone who knows

I'll try anaway

either they have the 2.8 or the 3.1 and theyre basically the same motor. The timing chains suck and are a bitch to replace soyou might want to have some fun doing it:smoker2: Ive heard the cooling systems develop air pockets and overheat pretty often never seen it though the only other thing Im aware of is on the rearend they had a big fiberglass spring and that will break and youll spend a little fixin it hope I helped a little

I have one

I have a 94 Cutlass Supreme Conv. with a 3.4 DOHC. It is a great car. The ride is smooth and it has more interior room than any other convertible --- very comfortable. I have driven it across the country several times and it is very reliable. The downside is that it is a b _ _ _ _ _ to work on. I had a gasket set replaced and the labor alone called for 4 hours.

I am thinking about selling it if you are interested. 843/252-7406.
