Skyline GTR Vs. SLK32AMG

I am having an argument with a friend of mine about cars. He loves anything with the Benz name on it and refusing to think anything else matters. I said to him, u know i would take a Skyline GTR over any benz any day( he is refering to the SLK32AMG). So we argured about them, so i take it to you guys, what do u think Skyline or SLK32AMG?
Please provide some #'s if u have em

I own a skyline and have owned a benz you cant compare the 2 they are both great cars.
a Benz is so over enginerred mine broke an exhaust manifold on it still ran very little trans fluid for 6 months (don't ask )and it still ran.
skyline you get in andturn the key and it run's ever time.
for pure perfomance the skyline for luxury the benz.

i know how you feel.

one time when i met this girl (17 years of age) she comes up to me and all of a sudden says a lamborghini diabro will beat a modified skyline gtr R34. it was funny because thats what her brother told her and she kept calling the diablo a "diabro" i kept telling her but she tells me that diablo is not the right way to say it.
anyways she kept telling me that the diabro (diablo) will beat a modified skyline on acceleration, and top speed. and the diablo is not modified at all. i try to explain to her that any car that is modified heavily can beat a diablo but she keeps telling me that the diablo is the ultimate car. i tell her that some skylines have over 800, even 1000+hp that does 1/4mile in mid 9's. there is no way a normal diablo can beat it.
ultimately her brother is like your friend. instead of the benz, he likes anything with the name diablo.

is that supposed 2 mean something? i do know some things about cars probably not as much as y'all but i can hold my own ground when it comes 2 cars....although i do think that what you guys are sayin is true.....this one kid came up 2 me and was tellin me about this nice car that was really fast and everything...i ask him what the name of the car is and he tells me that it's a Honda Acura....go figure but i do know some people who know about cars probably even more than i do..we always talk about imports and shit....i'm still trying to learn as well...so that's why i came here...to listen to yall talk, then turn it around and use it as my knowledge lol good trick huh?
