Yeah, there are two little pull tabs in teh front of the lower section, pull those as you lift up on the seat, then pull that part off. The next step is removing the back part of the rear seat. There are 4 screws (i think) one in each lower corner. and then there are two behind the cover where the armrest folds up into. Once those are removed you can lift up and remove the back part of the rear seat. Then in the upper left and right corner you will see the top mounting points of the rear struts. There are 3 nuts holding each side up. I think they are 14mm? (it's either 12 or 14, i think 14? it's been a little while since i've touched mine)
Once you get those undone, the two bolts on the bottom, and the brake line are all that's left to remove the whole assembly. The hardest part is undoing the top bolts while trying to hold the strut up from outside the car, at the same time... with two people it's simple, if you're by yourself, it just takes a little longer, but it's not that big of a deal. Hope this helps.

You don't have to remove the rear deck.

Pull tabs are in 93.5 and above. The older ones where simply pull up on seat. Only 2 screws holding in backing.

I'm confused. In my 93.5, there are 2 screws at the outside and two bolts behind the center armrest.

I'm talking about the bottom part. The part you put your butt on.

Nor did I have to remove the rear seats. I guess because folds down . Anyways here is a picture after the seats were down. You can notice how easy it is to get to now.

You have a G20T. For those of us who don't have a solid backing which needs to be removed.
