scarriest night of my life

well first off, first big outing with the skyline. jack drove it, i was chase car in the s2000 (310 rwhp )

cruised around town for a few hours, looking for groups of ricers or domestics, pretty much anyone....

came across a group of ricers who informed us of a smaller meet tonight. so, being stupid. we followed. the "meet" ended up being a pretty empty parking lot with maybe 10 other cars there. most were part of the group that came with us. oh yes, and there were LOTS of guns present. so basically, not a situation you want to be in. and definately not one i wanted to be in. after a few minutes, and many challenges "100 bucks, right now for a race" etc... we kinda became concerned on how sketchy the situation was, and decided to leave. which was hard, cause they wanted to leave to go to the illegals, and we really didn't want to go race with them. as, organized racing on the street = jail.

so, i get back in the s2000, my buddies get back in the skyline, and i shout to the group, "hey, check this out!" then proceed to peel out and do about a 300 degree spin in the parking lot. then exit quickly, the skyline right behind. as i'm leaving the parking lot, some lady in a truck across the street shouts "HEY YOU FUCKING ASS HOLE! WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING!?!?!" and starts CHASING ME! i really didn't want her to run the plates (though i didn't do anything illegal) or try to stop me, because there were people with guns who wanted us to go race with them. (yes, uber bad vibes still)
so, i take off down the road and a little more than a quarter of a mile away, take the right turn at the light (still being followed) at the speed limit (about 50, yay for autoXing and knowing what the car can do) and basically corner myself away from this person (didn't even have to break the speed limit). double back, and go to a friend's pizza place, where we had decided to meet up should we have to seperate.

brief part i wasn't there for:
now, while all this is going on, one of the guys was following the skyline (as well as another guy who was with us, and joined up at the parking lot). they got to follow the origonal plan: hop on the freeway and take that most of the way, but now with someone following it would be harder. now as they're driving a cop pulls over the skyline. yes, you heard me, it's been here 3 days now it's pulled over on the freeway. well, the officer first walks up the wrong side of the car... then realizes there are no vin #'s, etc etc etc....
since the rest will be posted first person later, long story short: officer tells them the temp tag is too low, gives them his knife to move it, says "be careful fancy cars like this will get stolen a lot, don't let it out of your sight", and "where can i get one"

so, no tickets, still alive, no crazy person chasing me for god knows what, and the front shocks for the mr2 got here today

all in all, "very exciting"

Re: scarriest night of my life

You should dedicate this post to all the nay-sayers in the Skyline forums that said that ONLY Motorex can legalize a Skyline. Jack's plates were run, and he was LEGAL.

and i forgot the part about after turning, blue and red blinky lights went on behind me
and sirens
and noise...

then as i pulled over one lane to the right...

a firetruck flew by me!

too much adrenaline + 2:30 AM = BAD SPELLING!

sorry.

I realize laws are different everywhere, but here in PA you did break the law. If your tires are making noise, you are breaking the law here.

Re: scarriest night of my life

yeah, his car, with the mods he's got, should pretty much kill almost anything on the street...
muy jealous...

the tire squealing thing comes in two parts, wreckless op, and "pealing/squealing tires" or "display of power"

it's pretty much the same in all states...

Interesting. If MotoRex didn't legalized who did? As it stands they are the only ones. RBMotoring is as far as I know still waiting for government approval. I've sent him a pm because if there is someone else that is "LEGIT" I'll add them. Only problem is a couple of guys who THOUGHT their car was legal with plates ect wound up getting them confiscated later.

Also the last time I checked (couple of weeks ago) MotoRex wasn't legalizing due to some paperwork foul up.

Re: scarriest night of my life

Why do you need MotoRex or any other company to get a skyline? What do they do that makes the Skyline legal?
